Who is this King of Glory?

Psalm 24 is a great passage to remember how awesome God is.
Use this Psalm to help focus your group on God's glory. 
Use these questions to help prepare your group for prayer.

Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?  (verses 4, 5 & 6)

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.  He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.  Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.

This answer reminds us that those who desire God and don't worship idols are true worshipers.  We need to focus on God. 

Who is the King of glory?

The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle!

Who is he, this King of glory? (verse 8)

 The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory!

This same question asked twice with very similar answers reminds us who God is.  We need to remind ourselves over and over again of who God is.

Use this Psalm, these questions and answers to help draw your group into a time of prayer that is focused on Him and not us.  

Make sure you take the time to read through Psalm 24 and answer the questions, as the note sheet suggests.
